Omsk Electromechanical Factory was founded in 1958 as an anchor company of the Ministry of Power Engineering and Electrification of Russia. It was a part of “Selelectrosetstroy” special-purpose construction association for building electrical grids in the rural areas (Moscow), it supplied steelwork for overhead power-transmission line supports all over the country. Since 1993 it has been incorporated as Open Joint-Stock Company “Omsk Electromechanical Factory”.
Now Omsk EMF is among major steelwork manufacturers for power-engineering, oil and gas industry. The Factory performs full work cycle — from design to finished product manufacture.
The Factory production capacities allow annual manufacture of max. 15,000 tons of any type of steelwork, including that on the customer’s drawings. All the products of Omsk Electromechanical Factory bears RST Certificate of Compliance ISO9001:2008, all the required regulatory codes and specifications.
The Company produces:

The support designs are constantly improved to provide their maximum operation reliability, reduce costs and time for the power transmission line construction, operation convenience and simplicity. Anticorrosion protection of the steelwork is performed on hot and cold galvanizing as well as by painting. On the customer’s request other coating options are possible.
Steelwork manufactured by Omsk Electromechanical Factory are applied for the implementation of large-scale development projects in power engineering, oil and gas industry and infrastructure of the Far East and Trans-Baikal region. The steelwork delivery geography covers the Ural Federal District, West and East Siberia, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, Far East. The product delivery to the extreme North areas may be performed by river transport.

MicroStep (Slovakia) numerically controlled plasma cutter provides a high-quality cut surface and enables cutting sheet metal of any configuration with the thickness of 4 to 32 mm using plasma cutter and with the thickness from 40 to 60 mm using gas cutting module. The cutter technological possibilities provide drilling holes from 8 to 32 mm.
Vernet Behringer (France) Universal Angle Processing Line – high-capacity equipment for marking, punching, drilling and cutting of different angle bars. The line is completely automatic and eliminates manual length and material feeding setup.
Rоlser (Germany) shotblast unit is used to remove the scale, rust, paint, for the surface treatment before painting or application of another coating, as well as for cleaning and obtaining the proper roughness of the rolled plates, pipes, shape bars and load-bearing elements.
State-of-the-art painting and drying system manufactured by Paint Coating Scientific and Production Company (Russia). Cutting-edge monitoring systems enable painting the steelwork with the outline dimensions of x 12.5 x 3.5 x 3 meters using any painting materials with the highest quality and in the shortest time possible.
